Change the "Eject" menu option name to something more specific
to the device, eg. "Lock" for a encrypted device, "Disconnect"
for a network device, "Safely Remove" for a USB thumb drive.

Instead a signal is used to notify that new files were created.

The closure is only used in ThunarLauncher internally.
