non-synchronization, especially from the default clipboard to the
primary clipboard.

The resolution of this problem, with the distinction of internal changes
according to clipboard, also fixes various cases of unwanted activation
of actions on selection.

If both clipboards are synchronized and the selection is lost, then the
primary clipboard should also be restored to remain in sync with the
default clipboard. This also helps to clarify the settings dialog.

The radio button can't be synchronized by a simple binding with a
boolean, it would have to be connected to a signal handler acting
alternately on one button and the other.

But it's better to use a combo box instead. It can be synchronized
directly, and a single label with several choices is easier to
understand in this case.
