xfce4-display-settings confirmation timeout configurable
Currently in xfce4-display-settings the confirmation timeout is hardcoded to 10s. However, when changing the screen resolution, some displays take a considerable amount of time to properly detect the signal and synchronization while the screen is blank. This can take up to 7-8s, so that when the screen is displayed again, you only have 2-3 seconds left to click the confirmation button and apply the settings.
However, especially when changing the screen resolution, the position of the dialog window also moves so that you first have to find the window on the screen. By then the timeout has often expired and the settings are reverted.
It would be useful to make the timeout value configurable via xfconf.
