Improve various aspects of the Image Preview pane

  • Add new style class "preview-pane" and show the top border
  • Change vertical alignment to centered
  • Show only a simple text when no image is selected
  • Respect misc-file-size-binary for file size

Fixes: #932 (closed)

Note that, the code lines for the old vertical alignment are commented out in case we decide to keep it unchanged after all.
