user experience: long filenames mess up view

Filenames get wrapped to the next line every 116 chars. Still this messes up the views. Better idea for file managers ist usually to truncate filenames using ellipsis. So the filename ist harmed but not the view. Bonus points for fixing this in a way that the most important information in filenames is priorised (usually start, end) and truncation starts in th middle section.
