Position of selected image is changed unreasonably

Description

1. Open an image with many images inside.
2. Scroll to middle of them.
3. "First item" (i.e. first of visible items) is selected in the side panel.
4. Go one position down. Expected: side panel scrolled then "first item" is selected OR "second item" is selected. Actual: "middle item" is selected then side panel is scrolled then "first item" is selected.
