segfault launching most apps after update to kernel 5.4.0-150
OS: Xubuntu 20.04 xfwm version 4.14.1 (revision 44809c49) for Xfce 4.14
When I installed a security update to the kernel, I got into a graphical login loop on reboot. After updating Nvidia drivers to 525, I can log in but xfwm4 crashed immediately. After removing ~/.cache/sessions/*, xfwm4 does not crash on login, but launching almost any app causes it to crash. A dice game called Tali does not cause a crash, but Terminal, Firefox, and Chromium do.
/var/log/syslog lists six segfaults, each like this, every time a crash occurs:
