[Enhancement] Add setting to be able to specify on which monitor(s) the window cycle dialogue appears.
I have the following feature request:
For the xfwm window cycle dialogue (that "popup" that comes up when you cycle through windows with <ALT>
+<TAB>
), add a configuration option in the xfwm4-settings
or xfwm4-tweaks-settings
to be able to specify manually on which monitor that dialogue should appear:
- On the primary monitor (or on all when no primary is set in
xrandr
) (seems to be more or like current behaviour), - on the monitor with the mouse pointer,
- on all monitors,
- (maybe: on a fixed monitor, to be specified. A sensible fallback if that monitor is not present should be implemented then.)
(This would be similar to openbox
's configuration.)
I have an issue in combination with touchegg
, where I manually have to set a primary monitor so that touchegg
makes the correct recognition of multi touch gestures, but that breaks where I want to have the window cycling dialogue. Or vice versa, I get mis-rotated touchegg
gesture interpretation if I set primary monitor differently. So I would need to specify separately where the window cycling dialogue appears (for me, the monitor(s) where the mouse pointer is would be the best, as it is possible with the window manager Openbox).
