Open menus break focus follows mouse

Description

To reproduce:

• Open two windows (e.g. xfce4-terminal, thunar)
• Click a menu button such as File' or Edit'.
• Move the mouse to another window.

Expected behaviour: The focus follows the mouse into the second window.
Actual behaviour: The focus gets left behind in the wrong window.

Can also be caused by the right click menu.

Note: GNOME 2 has this bug also.
