Thunar Failed to register: Timeout was reached
Thunar is not launching and this error is outputted to my ~/.xsession-errors
file.
Failed to register: Timeout was reached
This happened after my system turned off because the battery fell to 0%. I did not have any xfce program running at the time.
I wrote this shell script so I could run strace before the process started.
#!/bin/sh
echo "$$" > pid.txt
sudo strace -p "$$" &
thunar
And this was the output
strace: Process 4508 attached

Attached is also the sysprof recording of trying to launch thunar.capture.syscap
UPDATE Thunar works as expected with no errors after a reboot.
