Allow super key to toggle menu close when it is open

XFCE 4.18
Debian Based Distro

I recently was told that in newer versions of XFCE that being able to use the super key to open menu as well as being able to be used as a modifier key is now possible without the need for 3rd party application (#842 (closed) post was closed). It was good to hear this but recently I was told that hitting the super key again after the menu is open, does not toggle the menu closed again.
I am aware that you can use the “Escape” key.
3rd party applications for XFCE have this by default as well as other DEs as well, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to add this?
