[FR] ability to hide borders for workspaces in workspace switcher and other tweaks
When in the "miniature view" mode the workspaces have white/light grey borders. I have dual monitors with terminals of ipcams in one monitor. all these apps have borders and it clutters the workspace switcher and makes the whole desktop look old (possibly exacerbated by using a dark theme like i am, IDK). I would like to be able to disable borders for workspaces (especially when not selected/in focus) as a minimal improvement.
More border/theming options for the workspace switcher would be nice for xfce, in general, i think.
I might like to have a border (with color and thickness, roundness, of my choosing) that wraps each whole "dual desktop workpace" as one workspace instead of wrapping each app in the two "half workspaces", if that makes any sense.
Everything else looks nice enough (that i remember). This seemingly minor theming limitation has been a thorn in my side for a while.
Also, some workspace app icons have a gradient background and some don't. I would also like to get rid of that gradient background. I might like some light highlight color for the border when a workspace is selected, instead of applying a background to the selected workspace and wiry border to all workspaces.
Finally, it's called "miniature view", but doesn't actually show a miniature view. It shows an app icon. I think it should probably be renamed to reflect what it actually shows. I like the app icon just fine, just find the naming confusing.
thanks!
