xfce-panel clock widget doesnt allow setting optional modifiers.
i used optional modifiers in the past on many many multiple different bars and panels, optional modifiers are as explained here:
An optional modifier can follow the optional flag and width specification. The modifiers are: E Use the locale's alternate representation for date and time. This modifier applies to the %c, %C, %x, %X, %y and %Y conversion specifiers. In a Japanese locale, for example, %Ex might yield a date format based on the Japanese Emperors' reigns.
O Use the locale's alternate numeric symbols for numbers. This modifier applies only to numeric conversion specifiers.
If the format supports the modifier but no alternate representation is available, it is ignored.
i used %Ex %A %H時%M分%S秒 on i3bar which would look like 令和04年10月16日 日曜日 22時00分43秒
令和04年10月16日 being %Ex
but on xfce panel clock when i try to its just blank and goes red as if its wrong and wont accept it.
meanwhile it makes the bar go blank, dismissing even the ones that would work. so its just flat out disabling it and not even trying?
one without the Ex works fine
please fix this, its very important, i need the proper time format. thanks!!
