Is this acceptable to extend #944 (closed) ? We build a live distro shipping a few shortcuts on the Desktop (depending on flavor) and would like to keep gvfs and still be able to not have to mark each .desktop file as trusted individually.

Current workaround: adding $HOME/Desktop to XDG_DATA_DIRS..
