Free place to click on in thunar

I often need to verify files in folders and need a full list of them with some meta information. When I click on one item and check its content, it's impossible to get the meta information that was shown before in the lower part of thunar.

I created 2 screenshots for that: https://ibb.co/VJfDm8Y - this is when I open the folder and need to check files. I can see it's 185, but the progress is still running and there will be more files. I must know when there are no changes to the files. So I click on a file

https://ibb.co/hW6wd33 - it shows me some information about the size in the lower part. And now it's impossible to get the information that was shown in the first screenshot, so I know how many files are in there.

No matter where in the white place I click, it does not show me that information. It always selects a file. It would be very useful to have some "space" there so it's possible to unselect a selection. Hope it's clear what I mean.

There are multiple different possibilities to get what you want (See folder info when files are selected)

1. Press ESC
2. Edit --> Unselect All Files
3. Open a new tab/window to see both at once (CTRL+T / CTRL+N)
4. Open a properties dialog on the parent folder
