All open thunar windows jump to their currently selected file/folder when performing a copy/cut operation on any file/folder.
I'm running Linux Mint 21.2 and am experiencing some odd behaviour in thunar 4.18.4 that came with it.
Performing a copy/cut operation on a file in a thunar window (or desktop) is causing all my open thunar windows to scroll to the currently selected file/folder in them.
Basically I open a bunch of thunar windows and select a file/folder in each one then scroll the view away so the selected file/folder is no longer visible (need a lot of files in the directory to be able to scroll away like that). Then if I try to copy/cut any file (either using ctrl-c or through the right click context menu) in any thunar window (or the desktop), all the thunar windows scroll back to show their currently selected file/folder.
This odd behaviour happens in icon, list and compact views. Not sure if it was intended behaviour or not, but it's been quite a problem for me.
