The trashed or Shift+Deleted file or dir item does not disappear until F5 is pressed. This bug appears to affect only symlinks to dirs on another partition.

Sorry, I meant "another partition on the same HDD", not "another HDD". Edited the description. If your SSD has multiple partitions, please try to reproduce the bug.
I have several mounted disks. When deleting file from any mounted disk trash can is emptied. When deleting file and then umount disk, trash can is full but no files are shown. There are no symlinks used. When mounting the disk again, the deleted files are shown in trash can, and can be deleted.
I have the same issue. I have ~/tmp set up as a symlink to /tmp. When I use Thunar to view the contents of /tmp it updates automagically. But when I view ~/tmp, no updates.
