4.19.0 fails to build on OpenBSD due to missing wayland-client.h
from reading configure output, wayland support is optional:
checking for optional package gdk-wayland-3.0 >= 3.24.0... not found
checking for optional package wayland-scanner >= 1.15... not found
checking for optional package wayland-client >= 1.15... not found
but the build fails later on:
./xfw-screen-wayland.h:28:10: fatal error: 'wayland-client.h' file not found
#include <wayland-client.h>
i guess some missing #ifdef somewhere, or wayland-client should be a hard requirement and configure should fail if it doesnt find it ?
Wayland support on openbsd isnt there yet.. technically we have a port for the wayland APIs but no support of the underlying stuff.
everything builds fine if i install the missing wayland APIs package.
