Impossible to define WM keyboard shortcuts

Description
When using Settings > Window Manager > Keyboard, and trying to assign Hide_Window to CTL-L+ALT-L+i, some changes happen, but:
-
the change is not recorded in the GUI (i.e. even if redefined/cleared, "Hide window" remains set to Alt-F9), even if it is recorded into ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-keyboard-shortcuts.xml
-
the wrong key bindings are created in ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-keyboard-shortcuts.xml: my keyboard is configured with swapped Shift & CTL-L - through XFCE's settings ! - but when I try to redifine "Hide Window" to CTL-L+Alt-L+i, the keybinding is assigned to Shift! I succeeded configuring my shortcut using the keys as they are labeled IRL on the keyboard (i.e. using what is supposed to be SHIFT+ALT-L+i in my configuration). I assume that the WM keyboard settings panel uses an hardcoded default mapping, not what XFCE/Xorg is supposed to "see".
-
since I encountered problems, I attempted many times to do the configuration. As a consequence, multiple and conflicting entries are created in the file ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-keyboard-shortcuts.xml .
