The compact view is not fully updated after deleting a file whose name has changed the layout

Using latest git master and 4.16.8.

This can happen with file names that are long enough, or simply contain a line break.

For example, starting from an empty directory, execute

touch f f$'\n'g g
rm f$'\n'g

There is a vertical gap between f and g, which only disappears by pressing F5.
