can't select only remaining item in folder view with keyboard after deleting other items

There's a folder with only one item. When I enter that folder the single item is selected automatically.

Let's say there were mmultiple items and I deleted all but one. Now arrow keys won't allow selecting that item. Though, with more items the previous items would be selected automatically after having deleted others, see thunar#324 (closed)

Workaround:

• Alt+Up for parent directory
• Enter to re-enter sub directory
  = single item is selected
