exo-edit desktop entry: Icon variable drops values after dot

When opening the editor for a desktop entry, the editor drops everything after the dot for the icon value. It shows an unset icon on the dialog and if it's saved, it alters the .desktop file to use the mangled Icon value. It doesn't seems to happen with non-sufixed entries

1. Have an valid .desktop entry with a icon suffixed with .0
2. Edit entry using exo-edit
3. Icon seems unset on the screen
4. Saving like this would show that the .0 is removed.

This specific entry was created by wine. Icon=09BE_EpicGamesLauncher.0 is the value of Icon.
