Password length incorrect

This is a bug against the forum. Posting here because there is no specific forum product. When changing your forum password, the change password page states:
"Passwords must be at least 6 characters long. Passwords are case sensitive."
However, when you try to enter a short password (6-8 characters), the error message indicates that the password has to be at least 9 characters. Can we sync these two up?
