xkb icon/text not changing

Description

When I click on the xkb icon in the panel - it stays the same - always showing the letters US. The layout actually changes, but the icon remains always the same - the keyboard shortcut for changing also works fine, but the icon never changes.

I'm using Arch Linux x86_64, xfce4-panel - 4.6.0-1, xfce4-xkb-plugin 0.5.3.2-1.
