Creates notes from temporary files

I don't know when it happens (I suppose on panel restarts), but xfce4-notes-plugin-1.7.7 creates notes from temporary files. These are named like notes I've created before, with a dot and random characters at the end, e.g.: Todo.L44QNW. The contents are the same too.
After a while, a lot of these files exist and need to be deleted, which is pretty awful.
