Take ownership of clipboard content
Under X, a common problem is that clipboard content is tied to the application it was pasted from. If the application is closed, or suspended (SIGSTOP, e.g. through xsuspender), pasting will fail. This affects both primary selection (middle clicks) and actual clipboard.
Clipboard managers should take care of this by taking "ownership" of content, i.e. by tying the content to itself. xfce4-clipman-plugin doesn't seem to do this.
Repro:
- Open text editor, write some text
- Select some text
- Middle-click into another window -> works
killall -SIGSTOP editor
- Middle-click into another window -> doesn't work
Would be great of clipman could do this. Thanks!
