hard limit on URLs: URLs are not being recognised (not being click-able) if the domain part has a length greater than 32(?) characters
xfce4-terminal version: 0.8.7.4-2
Hello.
It seems that URLs have a hard limit of 32 characters. That is, while a URL such as https://worldbuilding.stackexchange.com
is clickable inside xfce4-terminal, the addition of a slash at the end https://worldbuilding.stackexchange.com/
, as well as any renders it unclickable.
I understand that there must be an upper hard limit on the length allowed, however could there be an option for the user to change the default of 32 into something larger?
Thank you very much.
