Start with one file from command line should not always show all other files from same directory
I'm using ristretto 0.13.1 on Arch Linux with XFCE.
I'm often starting it from a terminal, giving it one or more filenames as arguments. The arguments are expanded by the shell from wildcard expressions, so they sometimes evaluate to one, sometimes to multiple, sometimes to none (respectively the wildcard expression).
When the expression evaluates to multiple files, it works lie expected: only the given files appear in the thumbnail sidebar, and when I cycle through them, only these are shown.
When it evaluates to the wildcard expression (no matching files), I get an error as expected.
So far, so good ...
But when the expression evaluates to exactly one file, ristretto shows all files from the same directory an the thumbnail sidebar and cycles through all of them. This is bad, because I then have to check while cycling if the previous/next file matches my expression.
It would be helpful if I could see instantly that exactly one file matches.
I'm aware that this can be seen as feature, e.g. when ristretto was started by double-clicking an image in Thunar, you may want to browse the whole folder. On the other hand, I always say: "A feature that cannot be turned off is not a feature." :-)
I think this could be solved either by a command line option to switch to "exact" mode, an option in the settings, or (not sure if this is possible) by checking who opened ristretto and if it's a shell, then don't auto-expand the scope.
