Small fixup and cleaning following !1

Gaël Bonithon requested to merge Tamaranch/mousepad:fixup-cleaning into master

This makes the replace dialog search entry behaves like the search bar entry: find as you type.
I was pretty sure I did it right in !1 (closed), but apparently, I was overwhelmed by the magnitude of the changes.
I also forgot some cleaning.
