Feature request - changing font size using the mouse scroll wheel

Dear XFCE community,

I completely understood that you want to develop mousepad as a simple, low on resources, text editor without bunch of plug-ins. This is a very good idea in my opinion.

However, one feature I am really missing: changing font size using the mouse scroll wheel. When you hold control key and use scroll wheel you could easily increase font size in the currently opened editor.

Such feature exists in many editors, for example:

  • gedit (plugin Text size),
  • (as an example from Windows world): Notepad++

Have you consider adding this feature or it is too complex / against the simplicity of mousepad editor?

I see that you had similar issue in thread #46 (closed) However, it (enlarging text by pressing CTRL and "+") does not work on my MousePad (Mousepad 0.4.2, Linux Lite 5.0).
