'Other' sidebar entry's search field placeholder text not useful

Description
The search field placeholder text of 'odt, png, txt' found under the gear icon for 'Other' in the File Type group isn't useful as it only appears for a split second when the search field is disappearing, because once the search field appears, the cursor is put into the field. So either this can be added to the search field label (e.g. 'File Extensions (odt, png, txt)' ) or an information icon can be placed after the field which has a tooltip, or the search label could have a tooltip.
