Touchscreen gestures do not work in Firefox

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Firefox on Linux with XFCE (e.g. Xubuntu 25.10)
2. Try using touch gestures (e.g. swipe, pinch)

Actual results:

Text is being selected, no gestures appear to be passed to web apps.

Expected results:

Touch gestures should work, i.e. move the page, zoom, etc.

I'm not sure if it's an "XFCE issue". Touch gestures work as expected when using Chromium or other apps. On the other hand, I tried KDE and Gnome, and gestures work in Firefox on both of those.

(I've also created [issue on Firefox's bugtracker](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2031146 ) in case it is an issue with Firefox itself)
