Strange window position when going from fullscreen to windowed mode

Version: 0.13.2

I noticed that when using fullscreen option to open up an image from Thunar
ristretto %U -f
that if you hit hotkey to go from fullscreen mode to windowed mode (F11), the window ends up being positioned on screen where the "title/header bar" at the top of the window is off the screen, so the top of the "menu bar" is flush with top of screen instead.

If you snap the window to left side of screen so that is covers 50% of screen, the window snaps fine with the header visible. If you then hit "fullscreen" hotkey again to enter fullscreen and then again to go back to window mode, the window is fine, still snapped to 50% of screen. This issue only occurs if you close Ristretto and reopen it again, then this window issue comes back again. WM remembers that windows location from previous Ristretto session, so the next time this is performed, the window is still snapped to 50% but window is shifted up where the header/title bar is now off screen and there is a space about the same height gap of the "title/header bar" between the bottom of the window (status bar) and the top of the panel.

No need to edit a launcher, steps to reproduce:

ristretto -f
Press Esc or F11

Actual result: Part of the window is off-screen (the decoration).

Expected result: The whole window should be on screen (if the saved size allows).

Thank you for testing this out and for moving to the correct location.
Okay so this is not specific to Ristretto itself but maybe WM / interaction between Ristretto & WM.
I will see if maybe I can help test other applications to see if I can reproduce this issue.
So far Ristretto is the only one I have come across that does this.

Any app, or just those using client side decorations?

Ristretto doesn't use client side decorations.

I really did not realize how few applications contained a fullscreen option to add to command. I have been trying to help with testing other applications but have not found any to verify if this happens with all applications that support FS.
The main two application types that I can think of are video players and image viewers.

Video Players
Popular video players use QT or have their own GUI, so was unable to verify with them.

Image Viewers
I was able to test a QT one that did not have an issue but again it was QT. I tried many others, tried to stick to any GTK ones I could find, but many were strange when it came to how they handled FS, which I will not mention by name.
I tried "gThumb" which is Gnome based so does not contain a Menu Bar, when I tried to go from FS to 50% snap it would not remember 50 snap, it would just keep putting in strange location on right side of screen and down a bit.
I also tried one called "Mirage", this one was set to no matter what go from FS to a specific smaller window size and centered middle screen when windowed, did not remember snap 50.
If anyone knows of any GTK based image viewers with Menu Bars that I could use to help verify this issue please mention them.

My take is that the window updates its fullscreen state before it's even mapped, and therefore located on screen, so when switching back from fullscreen later, the coordinates to restore its original location are off. A solution would be to go through a complete placement again in that case.
