Alt-scroll zoom feature can cause confusion

Today I learned about the Alt-scroll feature, but I didn't realize it at first.

I thought maybe it was the thinkpad's built in zoom. I was "trapped" in a zoomed in state and didn't know how to get out.

Potentional solution:

• Perhaps we could show a floating message box that says "alt-scroll to zoom in or out"
• The message box could disappear when the mouse cursor enters the message box (to allow 100% visibility).
• The message box could also be dismissible via some additional key combination.
