DMS shell unexpected mouse focus behavior

Issue Description

When opening a Dank Material Shell (github.com/AvengeMedia/DankMaterialShell) widget popup, the original bar can't be focused until the widget popup closes.

Steps to Reproduce Issue

  1. Set up a DMS bar with a widget which creates a popup
  2. Open that widget's popup
  3. Click back onto the bar the popup was spawned from

Expected Behavior

On labwc, the bar can be interacted through the click on step 3. This causes the popup to close and the interactable element to receive a click.

This does not happen on xfwl4. What happens instead is that the bar does not accept any further input until the widget popup is closed by clicking somewhere outside both the bar and the widget popup.
