memory leak when turning off/on monitor
I'm running xubuntu 20.04.1 LTS with xfce 4.14 and I see memory leaking/growing when turning off/on my monitor (DP connection).
How to reproduce:
- Connect a DP monitor
- Observe xfdesktop memory usage
- Turn off monitor
- Turn on monitor
- Observe xfdesktop memory usage grows by about ~114MB for a 1920x1200 DP display
Here is a before and after diff using pmap:

This sounds exactly like #57 (closed) (old 16314) but that is supposed to be fixed in 4.14 as far as I understand. What information can I provide to help track down this issue?
