Double clicks executes all non-folder icons by default.

Double clicking folder icon in desktop opens thunar as expected. But double clicking any other icon, such as image gives following error.

The requested operation could not be completed Failed to execute child process "/root/Desktop/example.jpg" (Permission denied)

Same applies for all file types including text. Right click shows expected "Open with ...", (text editors, image viewer as expected).

tested exo-open as well as xdg-open, both works as expected.
