Icon position for removable disks is not remembered after ejecting disk
Tested on the live ISO of Linux Mint 22(.0) Xfce which comes with the admittedly somewhat-outdated Xfce 4.18.8.
No matter where you place the icon for a removable disk, the location of the icon will be forgotten as soon as you eject said disk. This occurs with not just USB disks but also optical discs such as CDs.
For context, I personally like to have my various "system" desktop icons on the right side so that any newly-created files and/or downloaded files and such appear on the left. But with this "forgetfulness", the desktop icon for any removable disk always just appears on the left side after whatever icons are already present.
(I am aware that you can change the default "icon orientation" setting for newly-created icons, but that's not what I'm referring to)
That being said, it could be a bit maddening to try to retain an icon position for every single removable disk ever mounted in which case I'd think it'd make more sense to treat any and all removable disks with the same icon position, e.g. if you position the icon for a Sandisk USB drive right in the top-middle of your screen, eject it, then insert a brand-new never-used-before Lexar USB drive, it would also appear in top-middle of your screen. Similarly, while the Lexar USB drive is inserted, if you subsequently insert another brand-new never-used-before PNY USB drive, it would appear directly beside the icon for the Lexar USB drive based on whatever direction your automatic icon sorting is set to (with the default of "top left vertical", it would result in the PNY USB drive's icon appearing directly below the Lexar USB drive's icon). Furthermore, again with the default "icon orientation" setting, if you then insert a CD while that PNY USB drive is connected, the CD would appear directly below the PNY USB drive.
