Double click on Touchscreen fails to lauch.

Good morning. As has already been reported in other threads, the double-click behavior on touch screens is not expected, resulting in the fact that it is impossible to open any access or icon to the desktop. I know the configuration option for a single click, but it's not the best option for me. I understand that it should be possible to have this functionality.

I've tried it on debian 11, 12, xubuntu 20.04, 22.04. I've also tried to change input drivers. Neither with libinput, nor with evdev, nor with synaptics (the latter was the worst of all).

In no case have I managed to make the double click work. On the other hand, if I install and use nautilus, for example, the double click works normally, so I would rule out um problem of the dispositive or driver.

The device is recognized as ELAN2513:00 04F3:2EED. I tried to search for information online about him but I haven't found anything.

If someone could give me a hand with this, I would appreciate it immensely.
