Desktop background is deleted after reboot or after booting

Description

Running Mint 17.2 Rafaela 64 bit. Desktop background never reloads after a reboot or an initial boot from a shut down. I always have to go the file that contains the background pic and set as background again. Then when I go to Settings -> Desktop, the pics from that file appear.
