Clicking on desktop file open thunar

I'm running xfdesktop 4.16.0+git180.72c0f842 on openSUSE tumbleweed with the git repo enabled and when I click on a text file on the desktop, it opens thunar in the desktop folder with the text file highlighted.

I'm only guessing but I preserve that this may have been caused by @alexxcons recent patch. thunar@9165a61f
