GUI backup & restore option for the entire Xfce desktop similar to Panel Preferences?

Created attachment 9453 backup and restore panel preferences

Have just noticed this super handy and easy to use "Backup and restore" button on the Panel Preferences (see attachment).

Something similar would be super user friendly to have for the entire Xfce desktop, for people to easily migrate and move with their own customised Xfce desktop.

Any thoughts on this?

Is this technically even doable to backup the entire desktop with all what the user did to customise?
