A way to show exotic keyboard layouts from evdev.extras.xml in the UI
Currently, keyboard layouts can be added and removed via Keyboard settings. The UI lists popular layouts and variants. But there are a few layouts/variants present in evdev.extras.xml that are hidden by default, as they are considered exotic, and there is no direct way to add them.
In GNOME, there is gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.input-sources show-all-sources true which allows to show the exotic keyboards in UI. Is there such an alternative present in XFCE?
A workaround is to go to Settings Editor, and click on keyboard-layout. Here, you can edit XkbLayout and XkbVariant to add a layout from extras. But the exact name of the variant is not shown in the UI. Hence, it's not a perfect solution.
