Regression: xfce4-settings GIT external Display permanently goes on and off with aprox 10-20 secods delay

There seems to be a regression within xfce4-settings GIT.

Last compile from before Christmas (Mid December) worked perfectly, the compile today causes my external display (HDMI) permanently to go on and off again. This permanently repeats every 10-20 seconds and then starts over again. Off and then On again....

Please have a look in the recent changes.
