Feature Request: Add support for setting default text editor

For some applications, xfce4 as it is currently has a way to set the default and have a convenient exo-open shortcut with a generic name pointing to it (rather than just the MIME type). For instance, I can choose a default file manager under the Utilities tab of the Default Applications dialogue, and then the built-in "File Manager" shortcut links to it so I don't have to search for Thunar in the Whisker Menu.

I would like to have built in to XFCE a "Text Editor" shortcut that, like "File Manager" or "Web Browser", can be adjusted in the Default Applications dialogue under the Utilities tab. It would increase the out-of-the-box usability of the desktop environment greatly (compared to just having Mousepad set as the default for certain text MIME types), as people wouldn't have to immediately know that the default text editor was called Mousepad when creating a new text file.
