Slack screen sharing low quality in XFCE with dual monitors
I'm not sure if this is the correct subproject for this issue report, but here goes:
I'm using Slack via the slack-desktop DEB-file, downloaded from the Slack website. My computer setup is a laptop with dual monitors set up via a docking station, with different resolution settings for each monitor. When I'm doing screen sharing in an XFCE session, the resulting output of my screen share to the recipients is very low quality, low resolution when sharing the screen with the highest resolution setting (the main monitor).
If I disconnect from the docking station, and screen share, the quality is good.
If I switch to Openbox, the screen share output is of expected quality, even when connected to the docking station, with multiple monitors. If I start Openbox with the xfsettingsd running, screen sharing from the main monitor is low quality.
The issue is consistent on two different computers, running two different distros (MX Linux and Ubuntu).
My system:
Distro: MX-21.2.1_ahs_x64 Wildflower
xfce-settings: 4.16.2-1~mx21+1
slack-desktop: 4.28.184
