flatpak apps are not pre-populated
Hi,
- Had Chromium installed with
pacman
package manager. I did select Firefox in the "Default applications" as the default web browser where it was ready to choose in the drop down along with Chromium. - Installed Chromium with
flatpak
from flathub. - Uninstalled Chromium with
pacman
- Wanted to set my default browser to Chromium now but as I opened the "Default applications" dialog, the option to choose it from the drop down was gone and I had to manually enter the
flatpak
launch path by choosing "Other..."
I mean it worked-out just fine for me but I find that if defaults are pre-populated, they should also be pre-populated if a flatpak version can be found. After all, it shows up just fine in the whisker menu just fine. Maybe it would be an option top consider the paths in ${XDG_DATA_DIRS}
.
