XFCE Settings -> Default Applications -> Internet -> Web browser change doesn't work

Environment: Manjaro XFCE (up to date) xfce4-settings is 14.6.2-1

Manjaro defaults and ships with Firefox. I used it for a bit, and then I installed Brave, attempting to use Brave as my default browser. In the XFCE Settings App, the Default Applications applet, Internet and Web browser setting, when changed, the browser reports itself as default. Yet URLs clicked in other apps bring up Firefox.

I had to break out a terminal and type the following:

xdg-mime default brave-bin.desktop x-scheme-handler/https

xdg-mime default brave-bin.desktop x-scheme-handler/http

It'd be nice if the XFCE settings app applied these changes as well when switching browsers.
