Some keyboard configuration not loading properly on startup when setting it via settings-editor
Because the de-bone keyboard is not available in the standard xfce4-keyboard-settings I am setting my configuration via xfce4-settings-editor/xfconf-query. The settings I set are (with using xfconf-query):
xfconf-query -c keyboard-layout -p "/Default/XkbLayout" -s "de,us,de"
xfconf-query -c keyboard-layout -p "/Default/XkbVariant" -s "T3,,bone"
On startup only de-T3 and us load and the keyboard indicator in my panel shows them switched out: When it is showing de the us keyboard is activated and when the panel is showing us the de-T3 keyboard is active. The de-bone keyboard is not available, neither through the panel-plugin nor through my set toggle key.
To get my setup working properly currently I have to use following workaround: After every startup I run:
xfconf-query -c keyboard-layout -p "/Default/XkbLayout" -s "de,us"
xfconf-query -c keyboard-layout -p "/Default/XkbLayout" -s "de,us,de"
and then the keyboard setup works properly.
