Shutdown on occasion generates a Log-Out loop
XFCE 4.18.x (think this happened in this past version as well)
XFCE 4.20.x
Apologize not sure where this post should go? Power Manager, Window Manager, other?
Not sure what causes this but I have noticed on occasion I experience a scenario where I apply hotkey to Shutdown system, but instead of shutting down, it instead performs a Log-Out action where the Log-In screen/dialog appears for user to sign in.
This then causes an infinite loop, because if I sign back in, both the "Shutdown" action and the "Restart" action both perform the "Log-Out" action so cannot shut system down.
End up having to hold power button/reset system to get out of this loop.
If I boot system right after, the Shutdown action works fine.
Again this only happens on rare occasions so have not mentioned it but it has happened enough and generates enough of an issue that I figured I would mention this.
Not sure if this is some kind of bug.
Does this happen to anyone else?
Does anyone know of any other solutions for this?
Does anyone know the cause of this?
Thank you to anyone who reads this
